This Privacy Policy describes how Mozgraph Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use the SalahSure mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Who we are

Mozgraph Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through the App.

Information we collect

We may collect the following information, depending on the features you use:

• Account data. If you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we may also receive your name and profile photo from Google. Sign-in is provided by Supabase.
• Location. With your permission, we collect approximate or precise location while you are using the App, in order to show Qibla direction, nearby masjids, and calculated prayer times. We do not request background location.
• Camera and photos. With your permission, we access the camera and photos you choose, for Qibla and for masjid contributions you submit.
• Notifications. With your permission, we use notifications to deliver soft prayer reminders that you enable.
• Contributions. If you submit masjid information, we collect the content you provide, which may include prayer times, facility details, photos, and a Google place identifier.
• Device and usage data. We may receive technical information that is necessary to operate the App, such as device type and app version. We do not use a separate analytics or crash-reporting service.

We do not sell personal data. The App does not display advertisements.

How we use information

We use personal data to:

• provide and maintain the App, including prayer times, Qibla, masjid discovery, and contributions;
• create and manage your account;
• send reminders you have turned on;
• respond to support requests;
• comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the App and your account), consent (location, camera, photos, and notifications, which you can withdraw in your device settings), and legitimate interests (operating the App, securing it, and retaining limited records where needed for legal claims).

Who we share information with

We may share personal data with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Supabase, to host account sign-in.
• Google, when the App uses Google Maps or Google Places, and when you choose Google sign-in. Google's use of that information is described in Google's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose personal data if required by law, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in the United Kingdom and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection for personal data transferred outside the United Kingdom.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account in Settings, we delete your login. Contribution submissions are retained. We remove the user id and email from those submissions so they are no longer associated with your account in the App. We retain a separate restricted record containing your user id, email, the related submission identifiers, and the date of deletion. We keep that record for 6 years so that we can respond to a legal claim relating to that content, and we then delete it.

Information stored only on your device, such as settings and favorites, remains on your device.

Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

If UK data protection law applies, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate personal data;
• request erasure of personal data, subject to the retention described above;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• request a copy of personal data you provided to us, in a portable format;
• withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
• complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise these rights, contact support@salahsure.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You can delete your account from Settings in the App. You can also request account or data deletion.

Children

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
